RV Rental Agreement

Effective Date: October 7, 2025
Company: RV Cruise US, LLC (“RV Cruise US,” “we,” “us,” “our”)
Renter: (“You,” “Renter,” or “Driver”)

1. Agreement Overview

This Rental Agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms and conditions under which the Renter rents a recreational vehicle (“RV”) from RV Cruise US for temporary use.

By signing or electronically agreeing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms herein.

2. Eligibility & Verification

The renter must:

  • Be at least 25 years old,
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license (or an international permit + passport),
  • Have a clean driving record,
  • Provide a valid credit/debit card for the security deposit.

RV Cruise US reserves the right to verify your driver’s history before releasing the vehicle.

3. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the scheduled pickup time and ends at the return time stated in the booking confirmation.
Late returns may incur a late fee of $50/hour or the equivalent of one rental day after 3 hours delay.

4. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit (typically $500–$1,000) is required before pickup.
The deposit will be refunded within 7–10 business days after inspection, provided:

  • No damage, excessive cleaning, or missing equipment,
  • The fuel and propane tanks are returned at the same level as provided,
  • No mileage overage beyond the included limit.

5. Vehicle Use Restrictions

The Renter agrees to:

  • Operate the vehicle only on paved roads (unless approved).
  • Not smoke, vape, or carry pets unless authorized.
  • Not allow unauthorized drivers.
  • Not exceed passenger or towing limits.
  • Not use the RV for illegal or commercial purposes.

Any violation voids insurance coverage and may result in loss of deposit + additional liability.

6. Insurance & Liability

All rentals must be covered by:

  • Primary auto liability insurance, and
  • RV Cruise US’s supplemental coverage (when purchased).

The Renter is responsible for:

  • All damage not covered by insurance,
  • Tires, glass, and undercarriage damage,
  • Roadside assistance if caused by negligence,
  • Losses due to theft, vandalism, or unauthorized drivers.

7. Maintenance & Repairs

Renter must:

  • Inspect the vehicle before departure,
  • Notify RV Cruise US immediately of any issues,
  • Not perform major repairs without authorization.

Minor expenses (under $100) for essential repairs may be reimbursed with receipts and prior approval.

8. Accidents & Reporting

In case of an accident:

  1. Contact local authorities and file a police report.
  2. Notify RV Cruise US immediately.
  3. Obtain names, license numbers, and insurance details of all parties.

Failure to report within 24 hours may result in denial of insurance claims.

9. Fuel, Mileage & Cleaning

  • Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned the same way.
  • Mileage over the included limit (e.g., 100 miles/day) will incur an extra charge per mile (as listed in your agreement).
  • The RV must be cleaned and waste tanks emptied before return or cleaning fees will apply.

10. Cancellation & Refund

Cancellations are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy posted at rvcruiseus.com/policy.

11. Indemnification

The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless RV Cruise US, its employees, and affiliates from any loss, claim, damage, or expense arising from:

  • Vehicle misuse,
  • Violations of law,
  • Accidents or negligence,
  • Breach of this Agreement.

12. Termination

RV Cruise US reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if:

  • False information was provided during booking,
  • The renter is found under the influence, or
  • The RV is being used illegally or unsafely.

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

13. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.
Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, CA, unless otherwise required by law.

14. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between RV Cruise US and the Renter, superseding any prior verbal or written understandings.

15. Acceptance

By signing electronically or completing the booking, you acknowledge that you have:

  • Read and understood this Agreement,
  • Accepted all terms, and
  • Authorized RV Cruise US to charge your payment method for all rental-related costs, damages, and fees.
